A.I. Navigation Meshes Generation

Customized tools for automatic generation of navigation meshes suitable for AI pathfinding. This project was done for various MMO solutions.

Time saving automatic generation of navigable terrain surfaces based on various criteria:
- terrain slope
- artist painted or generated color (ID) maps
- arbitrary meshes intersections

Compute ground-level clipping of navigation mesh with arbitrary shaped geometry.

Possibility to use ID map layers to indicate non-passable portions, overwrite slope restrictions or assign custom IDs into the final navigation mesh.

Support for bridges and other walkable surfaces. Support for baking hand-made interior navigable surfaces into automatic generated navigation meshes.

Generation of matching navigation meshes for multiple terrain zones thus offering the possibility to export and combine large areas of navigable terrain.

Exporter to XML format and PathEngine.
