| Is there a way to place an image over a map to use as reference? I have large maps and one main reference image (taken from a 1947 road map) to use for locating waterways, city/town locations, roadways, etc. |

| If you don't need to rotate and custom place the texture on each zone you can create a normal texture layer with your image. If you have a big map to be mapped on multiple zones, you can use the RAW importer to make it automatically separate on multiple images, one for every zone. Also, if you need it to be transparent, just use a masked texture layer and use a certain transparency (gray) value for the mask. |

Thank you. I can create textures to fit my zones as they are now.
The ability the rotate and move is what I would prefer. It would help to ensure precise placement. |
