Hi Adrian,

On a fresh install and new scene, mouse zooming is eradic and unpredictable. Panning also seems very slow. But, when I load the canyon workspace, mouse zooming seems fine.

I tried playing with control + wheel and adjusting the speed, but not really getting it to work as expected.

Any ideas?

Setting the speed to around 200 seems to make it feel right. The default of 800 behaves strange an uncontrollable.

Hi,

Mouse speed is controllable per scene (once you set it up it is saved with the scene). Probably the default values are not suitable for your scene size and units. But even if the speed is too high it should not behave in an uncontrollable way. We didn't had this issue reported by any other of our clients so I suspect it is something specific to your system. Are you using a different mouse (trackball for example)? Or any other things are specific to you? Also what kind of mouse cursor sensitivity are you using in Windows?

Anyway, in a future update we will also support progressive mouse movement. Basically, if you activate this, the mouse will act faster when far away from the scene and it will slow the controls down when very close to scene objects. This is suitable when browsing large scenes and you also want local control when you edit.

Kind Regards,
Adrian
