Hi,

Any news about the cache location? To be more precise, about having the option to manually set up the cache in custom disk location/path.
I asked some time ago about this feature and a thought to check again with the hope for a more optimistic answer.
One more question: would it help to have, lets say, a 4 x 256GB SSDs Raid0 setup, with the sole purpose of building huge worlds and, of course, using it as the cache location?
Thanks,

Hi,

Unfortunately we didn't had time to implement this feature. For now the cache (swap) location is still in the Grome installation folder. Anyway, even if we implement this, I doubt we can implement multiple locations at once (so you still have one folder). So why not just install Grome on that raid disk setup? To be noted that you can install Grome on multiple locations on the same machine, using the same license file. Just that you cannot run multiple Grome's at once.

Kind Regards,
Adrian L.
