Maybe I am out of touch with other software but I am simply unable to find anything related to the .roads extension or the RoadsNetwork import/export feature in Grome 3.

I am hoping to find a way to get OpenStreetMap shapefile data (or .OSM data) exported from Global Mapper to be used in Grome.

Hi,

Roads files saved by our exporters are not a known format. It is just an example how to save and load roads in XML files. It can be used as an example for your own exporters.

So for OSM format you can use the Grome SDK to create your own import plugin. You will need decent C++ knowledge. The SDK comes with full documentation and using the existing plugins source is pretty straightforward. I am more than happy to provide any support.
