the meaning of Pixel In Ground Holes Mask , Is vertex or Surface?

example)

height map : 1024 * 1024 ( real height mask , vertices 1025 * 1025 )

Ground Holes Mask : 1025 * 1025

Hi,

Ground holes are at the texture resolution so its resolution can be bigger than the vertex resolution. So you can use any resolution. Indeed if you need the resolution as the vertex one use a power of two plus 1 res for the ground hole. Or just rescale the ground hole at export time.

A ground hole layer is a simple color layer (doesn't have a mask but a color layer of any resolution) and where is painted black it indicates that there is a hole.

Make sure you put it as first layer (bottom most) if you want your holes to appear in grome.
