I don't mean to be rude or whatever but .. is the development for this very good application dead ?

I don't mean that it's unexploitable, bugged and all of course, but there is room for improvement (multi core version maybe ? Alicu said it would come eventually) and the last released version is more than a year old (Grome 2.00.07_07/16/2009).

Of course I'm not asking new version just tomorrow, but would be happy to hear about what will come later.
So please, could you communicate a bit on Grome 2 evolutions ?

Hi,

We've been very busy working on the next version of Grome (which is very close to be launched). It will have many new features (new tools, types of layers, some changes to the UI). Also Graphite will have a new update shortly to keep up with the new features from Grome. The 2.0 version of Grome was very stable (we actually didn't had a bug report to it from the last version you've mentioned) so there was not too many updates to it. Sorry for the lack of new information on the site lately. Internally there was a lot of work going on. We will have new information soon.

Best Regards,
Adrian L.

Yes, you are right about communicating the progress more often. In the future we plan to have a continuous update program to the site with tutorials, additional materials etc. In the mean time please don't hesitate to contact us via forums or email.

Best Regards,
Adrian L.
