When working with large amounts of layers, shifting them about is a time consuming experience.

Adding a 'repeat last command' command like maya has (the g key) will make agonizingly mundane tasks very quick and easy to handle.

failing that, Page up for layer up, and page down for layer down would be an absolute GODSEND.

Thanks loads!

Hi,

Pressing Backspace would reactivate the last used tool.
What kind of command? Simple apply of a tool? Or other commands related to layers? We can try to add shortcuts for all kind of operations, but I need to know what these commands are.

Layer down / up: are you referring to moving a layer up and down?
We've already implementing layer move with mouse drag (it will be present in the next update). Or activating (marking in use) the up / down layer relative to the current selected layer?

Also to make layer tasks easier we plan to add grouping, hiding/showing of layers.

Regards,
Adrian L.

Reactivation is handy, but re-applying the previous command, like maya, is what I was referring to.

For example: re-Applying objectLink on selected objects. Welding selected road nodes. Grounding selected nodes.
I'm sure there are more commands this would be useful for; I just can't think of any at the moment Smile

Great to hear about the layer tools. It'll improve workflow exponentially!

Cheers,
-Adam
