Hi All,

Cannot fathom out why this is happening and it's driving me nuts. I have my own items I'm putting into a terrain I'm creating. I've exported them in Maya 2009 however when I put them into Grome they are showing up with no textures. The objects are exported with the designated textures and I've tried all sorts of things to get it to work but it's not. What is the trick to getting your own collada files into Grome textured?

Thanks
Richard

Can you send me one of the files by email (licu at quadsoftware.com)?

Many collada exporters are saving the texture files with absolute paths so you need to keep the image files in the original locations. Some save the images references only with the file names so you need to put the images in the same place as the dae files. You can check the actual path yourself by inspecting the dae files (look at source of the images in the XML file in <init_from> tags).

Regards,
Adrian L.
