Hi, I just started using a version of the Torque engine and I was wondering if you can output a single opacity layer map from Grome.

I know you can produce several masks based on color layer but I'm looking for a full terrain sized opacity layer.

Also- I've been away from the boards for a while and I was wondering when the next release should be expected.

Hi,

The Torque exporter from here:
http://www.quadsoftware.com/index.php?m=section&sec=product&subsec=editor&target=editor_torque

Can export an opacity map containing 4 masks (from 4 layers) on RGBA channels.

Also the General data sets exporter can do the same with an option to normalize the channels or not (which the Torque exporter does by default).

Both export the one single huge map for all the zones in the scene.

Let me know if this is what you have in mind.

Regards,
Adrian L.

PS: next version will be out in 1-2 months but for now I cannot tell you an exact date or feature sets.
