Looks like all of the presets have vanished since the last patch. I haven't created any customer presets but notice none of the presents supplied with the product seem to be present any longer ?

Hi, I've rechecked the last public build and the presets are present in the package (presets and MaskGen, at FractalNoise and FractalBrush). Did you called the special command that runs Grome by resetting the configuration?

You can find the standard presets here:

http://www.quadsoftware.com/storage/standard.presets

Download this file. And then start Grome, goto main menu, Tools, Manage Presets and press Import to load this file into your configuration.

Regards,
Adrian L.

Thanks for providing the presets link, i was able to import them. I did not run the special command to reset anything. I did three things that I can think of that may have impacted

1. Upgraded grome to the latest version.
2. Imported all the objects from the demo version
3. Added the collada export plug-in that you provided.

The only one in my mind that seems like would have precipitated this problem is the update....but you got me.

Thanks Smile

It appears that evertime I restart grome the presents don't load and I have to go in manually and import them Sad

Please help Smile

Problem solved! Grome kept crashing, so the presets never were saved. When I exited normally, the presets were saved!

Crashes when RAM used by the system/program gets to 2 gigs. So for example, if im in the 80 percentile use range and create a zone that is a little too large it will sometimes crash on me or either start acting irratic.

Also crashes on some of the exporters if you try to export too many zones at once (exceeds 2 gigs of ram during export), hence my request that you add a button to select the number of zones on the collada export so i don't crash when attempting to export Smile

Anxious for the 64 bit so i don't have to worry about these issues as much. Smile

Hi, yes 64bit is a must and we are preparing it for the next update. We are also looking into a way to limit these critical errors when running out of memory (program to stop creating more zones when he doesn't have enough memory).

Thank you for your feedback.
