I am wondering if the models (trees, etc) and textures (terrain) that come with Grome are available to use outside of Grome (ie: commercial game projects). If so, what kind of polygon counts are the trees that are in the demo anyway?
I am also wondering the different between art content between the Standard and Professional versions.
If you are a Grome client you will have access to a library of 200 terrain textures (no matter the program version, Standard or Pro) that you can use in any project, commercial or not. Textures are 512 by 512 pixels and are in dds format. We can also provide them as 1024 x 1024 for interested clients.
There are no objects provided for now. But we plan to add two new packs shortly: one with some industrial buildings and some with vegetation. They will come in COLLADA format so can be used in any known modeling application.
Clients of Grome can use all these assets for any projects without any limitations. All the packages are provided for no additional costs.
