I was wondering if there is a way to restore a preset. I accidentally deleted one of the procedural texture presets and would like to get it back. Oops.

Thanks

Hi, unfortunately not. In case it is a default preset I can send it to you.

In general it is good idea to save your presets from time to time from main menu: Tools -> Manage Tools Presets...

Also in case you want to save the entire configuration (presets, UI settings, shortcuts) you should safe the configuration.registry and shortcuts.registry from <Grome installation folder>/Builder/Scripts/Configs/default.

It was the default Vertical 0 90 preset for mask generating. I basically made another one by adding two distribution masks and renamed them vertical 0 90 (1) and (2). This seems to do the same thing but I am so new to this program that I don't know what I don't know.

Thanks again for the quick response.

Well I guess it's not the same.. it appears to cover the same area as the default 90 90 preset. Could you please send me the default Vertical 0 90 maskGenerator preset?

Much appreciated.

OK i'm looking over the settings for each distribution mask and I think I might be able to figure out what the correct settings would be for a 0 90 mask. If you could still send me the height, slope and orientation settings I would appreciate it.

OK so this thread is all about me not knowing what I am doing again (if you saw that QuickTime post you would understand). Once I sat down and thought the settings through I figured it out.

I appreciate your quick responses on both of these inane topics. Embarassed

I love Grome so far by the way.
