Using Grome as a level editor, I need to place objects which are not visible in the game world (e.g. player starting positions, triggers and such)
Of course, I want them to be visible inside Grome.
Now when it comes to lightmap calculation, this poses a problem. I need a way to enable/disable objects for lightmap rendering. Is this feature planned for the near future, or can you recommend a viable workaround?
Hi, you can select the objects you don't want to participate in the lightmap computation and hide them before applying shadowmap tool. Hidden objects are not used. In the future there will be more options regarding lightmap generation.
