Hi, not sure whether it's already there but I failed to find it. I wish there's a Live view of all roads. So I can a select/hide/merge/split roads in a central place.
Thanks!

Hi,
I am not really sure I understand, are referring to a single tool to operate on roads splines instead of multiple ones? Currently there is a tool to erase roads (points, segments or entire roads), to configure their parameters (like step, width, materials), to adjust the position of control points and also one to weld roads.
These were separated so the UI is not too complex for one tool. But you can easily assign shortcuts for each of them or just use the toolbar icons to quickly change between them. Each tool usually has multiple levels of selection: point, individual segment, road or entire network of roads.
More you can find in this introductory video:

I hope this information helps.
Kind Regards,

Hi Adrian,
Sorry that I'm not making myself clear enough.
I mean a List View to list all roads. So I can hide/show individual road. |

Hi Jackie,
I see. There are several ways to list the roads and select them. For example if you go into Configure tool, go into the road select mode (either penultimate or ultimate selection mode in that tool) now the select by name dialog will show the roads (or network of roads) instead of regular scene objects. So if you have two roads, called road 1 and road 2, and you press Control + Alt + S while in this selection mode, they will be listed now and you can select any of them. You can name the network of roads when you create them. The individual roads you can rename inside the Configure tool (at the Name entry in road selection mode).
From what I know there is no road hide operation yet (I will make sure we add this in the next updates).
But, for example, if you want to show / hide the road influence on terrain you can just press and unpress the eye button next to each road layer. Its influence is removed / added form the terrain with its layer.
Kind Regards,
Adrian L. |

Thanks for the "Ctl+Alt+S" tip. That helps a lot when select from large road networks.
It'll be great to be able to hide road. |
