Is there any other way to do textures? I can only find tutorials for Grome 2.0. All I want it to be able to use a texture brush or something.

Hello,

Yes, you can use brushes. First you need to assign material layers. To learn how to use layers refer to this tutorial:
http://www.quadsoftware.com/movies/grome/tutorials/Grome3/LayersView.mov

Then, before modifying them, you need to arm the layer (press the red button next to them). After that you can use either Color Brush or Mask Brush tool. Color Brush are used for material layers that don't have masks (they are simple color layers, on which you paint the colors directly). Mask brush is used for layers with masks. You paint mask indicating where the material is visible. Masked brushes can have simple diffuse texture or more advanced textures as described here:

For procedural generation of masks and colors refer to this tutorial:

Grome 2 is not that different from 3. The differences are only in the layers view (how the layers are exposed). The way layers operate is the same.

Let me know if I can provide more information.

Kind Regards,
Adrian L.
