1.20.26 collada exporter only exports 1 color layer

i have 2 color layers 1 for red green blue black and 1 for shadow map

collada only exports lowest texture in tree

so i get no shadowmap export unless i delete the first color layer
then export
then hit undo a few times to get it back

Hello,

Are you referring to the fact that images are not expoted in the save folder? Or that they are not referred inside the COLLADA file?

I've just tested the exporter and it does save all the image files (not matter if export only selected is checked or not). But indeed only the first one is referred inside the COLLADA file. This is because there is not standard way to represent multiple layers of terrain in collada file. So that's why collada export is suitable mostly for heightmap and one image. For complete terrain format you should use your own format or if you use other engines (OSG, Torque) use their specific export plugins.

You can however reproduce Grome layers (at least some types) in other modeling packages. In 3DS Max for example you can use composite material or FX. More on this issue in this thread:

Let me know what application/engine you are using and I may be able to indicate the best formats.

Regards,
Adrian L.
